Where are you located?
I am based in Cameron Park, California – nestled in the foothills between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. The majority of my sessions are in El Dorado and Sacramento counties, but I am available for travel and destination sessions/weddings.
What do you shoot with?
I am a Nikon girl (though there is absolutely nothing wrong with Canon!). I currently shoot with a Nikon Z6ii, D810, and D750. Even though I have a battery of lenses, my favorites are 85mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, and my new wedding fave – 70-200mm f/2.8.
Can you give me all of the RAW files?
The simple answer is no. I am an artist. What I deliver are works of art. Each one has to meet my high standards – rest assured: you will see every worthy image, perfected and edited.
Do you have a studio?
My studio is The Great Outdoors! All sessions are on location. Do you have a favorite place you’d like to go for your portrait session? If so, let’s go! Don’t know where you’d like to go – that is ok. I have a bunch of great locations to suggest.
Destination portrait sessions – Are you interested in visiting your favorite vacation spot like San Francisco or Lake Tahoe for your session? I am available for travel, and I LOVE it!
What should I wear to my session?
Comfort is key. Now, I am not talking sweats comfy, but cute comfy. If your clothes are uncomfortable, you will look uncomfortable in every image. I recommend coordinating your outfits. Start with one outfit and build other outfits from there. After you book your session, I will send you a bunch of inspiration. I am here to help and consult if you need more assistance.
What happens after my session?
Within two weeks of your session, I will send you a link to access a private online gallery where you can purchase prints, albums, and digital files. I am also available to meet with you to help design a custom collection.
Are you available for travel?
Absolutely! There may be a travel fee for sessions outside of Sacramento, El Dorado, Amador, and Placer counties. I have set destination collections for San Francisco, Napa, and Lake Tahoe. Special travel rates for Southern California, Montana, and the Coastal Carolinas. My passport is ready to go!
