Ever since I started photographing weddings ten years ago, I have always loved destination weddings. I have had the honor of traveling to Maui, Wisconsin, and all over California for weddings. The very last wedding I photographed in 2018 took me out of the country to Jamaica!
John + Molly exchanged vows in front of a few friends and family, just feet away from the water at RIU Negril. From the officiant mispronouncing Molly’s name (John also mispronounced so as not to embarrass the officiant), to John serenading Molly during their first dance, to the jerk chicken (SO good!!), their wedding was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
Side note, I don’t know if I have ever had a more refreshing beer in my life after I was done photographing their wedding. I NEVER drink while I am working, but dang. When John brought an ice cold Red Stripe, I couldn’t resist! The humidity is no joke in Jamaica, Mon. 😉
