A Fresh 48 was on my bucket list of photography wishes forever! My dear friend Kati let me photograph her and her family hours after Miss Kailey arrived. It was the sweetest thing to watch (and photograph) Kinsley and Caleb meet their newest sibling.
So, what is exactly IS a Fresh 48? A Fresh 48 is a session that is held with in the first 48 hours of your baby’s life. Most happen 24-48 hours after birth. However, if you are introducing your new baby to their siblings for the first time, I highly recommend capturing that as well! Those moments might be the sweetest I have had the honor of capturing in my career. Fresh 48’s are lifestyle sessions where there isn’t necessarily a ‘plan’. I just document life as it unfolds.
