Since I was in Southern California for Jordan + Sarah’s wedding, I decided to do a few family sessions before heading home. I grew up near Pasadena and still have friends and family in the area. Melissa, a dear family friend, helped me with the location selection – Arlington Gardens in Pasadena. I LOVED it. Seriously. If we had a location like that near me, I would shoot there all. the. time. Plus, the light is ah-mazing.
My day started off with John + Katie. They just married on New Years Eve! Congratulations J + K!
I couldn’t get over how fun the Curtis Family was! They always do a Halloween card so they came prepared with props. Between the teeth and the mustaches, I could decide which I loved more!
Goodness, I’ve known the Evans Family since I was a little girl. It was fun to meet all the grandkids and see Chris (meet his wife Jessica) and Amanda again.
Last, but definitely not least, the Cripe/Macias family. This family is family. My mom and Sandy have been friends since 10th grade. 10th grade! That is over 40 years of friendship, laughter, growing families, and love. While I don’t see them often enough, I cherish every moment. Thank you Melissa for helping me put all of this together! ♥
